Kenya is located in East Africa and is synonymous with African mobile tented camp safaris and lodge safaris.  Located on the Indian Ocean the coastline extends a total length of 1 420 km.  Of this, some 650 km, represents 45.7 percent of the total is found in Lamu District, which in addition to its very irregular coastline, has several islands within its boundaries.
