Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: On arrival you will be met by a Representative, who will assist you to the car rental kiosk for vehicle collection.  You spend your first night in the Elegant Guest House – Windhoek.

Day 2-4: Depart Windhoek for Halali Camp, Etosha National Park, spend 3 nights and 2 full days enjoying the freedom of a Self Drive Safari around this wildlife rich region.  

Day 5-7: Depart Etosha and drive to Grootberg Lodge located in the dramatic mountains of Damaraland.  Spend 3 nights in a thatch chalet overlooking the Klip River Valley.  Join guided walks, Damar cultural tours, scenic drives and track rare desert adapted elephants and rhinos. 

Day 8-10: Drive to the small historic Atlantic coastal town of Swakopmund and spend 3 nights at the Sea Breeze Guesthouse.  Enjoy fine restaurants, an array of desert and water activities, a Skeleton Coast tour or visit Cape Cross Seal Colony.

Day 11-13: Travel to the Desert Homestead Lodge famous for its guided horse trail and balloon rides over the Namib Desert, literally one of your highlights.  Visit the Deadvlei pan after climbing Big Daddy, one the world’s largest sand dunes.  Spend 3 nights soaking up the ambience and solitude of this desert landscape.

Day 14: Travel to Windhoek and enjoy your last evening in the countries capital city.  Make sure you visit the famous restaurant & steak house, Joe’s Beerhouse, before departing.

Day 15: Travel to the international airport for onward arrangements.

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Windhoek and collect vehicle.  Enjoy the comforts of an Olive Grove Guesthouse luxury room.  This boutique guesthouse combines stylish architecture with simplicity.   

Day 2: Travel to Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch where you can enjoy a dune drive and sundowner drink, massages, cheetah feeding, horse riding or a culture walk with the San Bushmen.

Day 3-4: Drive to Fish River Lodge where you spend 2 days exploring the Fish River Canyon, the world’s second largest canyon.

Day 5-6: Take a leisurely drive the Klein-Aus Vista Eagle’s Nest famed for its extensive vistas and close proximity to the Wild Horses. Stay in an individual rock chalet.

Day 7-8: After a mornings drive arrive at the remote Kanaan N/a’anku se Desert Lodge Retreat enjoy scenic dune drives, cheetah feeding tours, horse riding, photographic safaris and a sun-downer. Kanaan belongs to the N/a’anku se Wildlife Sanctuary – this is where conservation meets tourism.

Day 9-10: Stay 2 nights at Kulala Desert Lodge – Venture into the Namib Desert and climb Big Daddy, the world’s largest red sand dune, marvel at Deadvlei or watch the sunrise from your hot balloon basket before indulging in a Champagne breakfast in the desert.  

Day 11-12: Drive the scenic route to the Camelthorn Kalahari Lodge.  Whether it’s a wildlife sunset drive, quad bike ride, walk with the San Bushman or simply a massage, this lodge offers the lot.  

Day 13: Travel to GocheGanas, where you can relax and take in uninterrupted views over the Nature Reserve.  Rejuvenate in their state-of-the-art wellness facilities before enjoying the bar that boasts some of the best mountain views.  The perfect place to end your adventure.  

Day 14: Travel to the international airport for onward arrangements.

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Windhoek and collect vehicle at airport.  Relax overnight in an Olive Grove Guesthouse luxury room.

Day 2-3:  Travel to Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch where you enjoy game drives, cheetah feeding, sundowner drinks on the dunes, walks with the San Bushmen, horse riding, helicopter flights and massages. 

Day 4-5:   Spend 2 nights at the exquisite Wolwedans Dune Lodge one of the world’s top Eco-Desert Lodges, which is perched on top of a sand plateau overlooking the Namib Desert – enjoy five star dining and fine wines – it is absolutely beautiful. 

Day 6-7: Kulala Desert Lodge –  This is the closest point of access to the dunes of Sossusvlei.  Walk the Deadvlei Pan and climb Big Daddy, one the world’s largest sand dunes.  Sleep under the stars and watch the sunrise as you float over the Namib Desert in a hot air balloon before indulging in a Champagne breakfast in the desert. 

Day 8-9: Spend 2 nights at the Desert Breeze Lodge overlooking tranquil sand dunes only  a short drive from the Atlantic coastal town of Swakopmund.  Enjoy fine restaurants, stylish boutiques, many water and desert activities and the Cape Cross Seal Colony.  

Day 10-11: Doro Nawas – sleep under a thatched roof, visit Twyfelfontein – the largest collection of petroglyphs (prehistoric rock art) in Africa and take in a game drive to see rare desert-adapted elephants.  The landscape is diverse and dramatic.

Day 12-14: Ongava Lodge – relax in a luxury chalet overlooking the waterhole where lions, rhinos, zebras, warthog, jackel and antelopes frequent.   Take a game drive into Etosha National Park, enjoy nature drives and walks, view wildlife up close from the camp hide, and cool off in the swimming pool.

Day 15: Okonjima Plains Camp is part of the AfriCat Foundation.  Your have the opportunity to see beautiful carnivores in their natural environment.  This is where Tourism meets Conservation.

Day 16-17: Rejuvenate at the GocheGanas Wellness Village, a state-of-the-art wellness facility with uninterrupted views of the mountains and a bar that boasts some of the finest views.  The perfect place to end your adventure.  

Day 18: Travel to the international airport for onward arrangements
