Day 1 | SERONGA / LITTLE DUBA: You take a 40-minute charter flight from Maun to Seronga (a remote village on the edge of the Okavango Pan Handle) where you will be met by your guide who will accompany you for the entire safari. We head out onto the Okavango River to start our adventure downstream through permanent swamp and Papyrus beds with lunch enjoyed under a shady tree. After arriving in camp late afternoon and settling in we journey back out on the water for sundowner drinks.

Day 2 | LITTLE DUBA:  Depending on which island we spend our first night, there might be an opportunity to do a short walk before heading out on the boat to explore the many lagoons and water ways.  Enjoy a packed lunch and a late afternoon return to camp where a hot shower, a bush dinner and relaxing around the wilderness campfire await.

Day 3 | XIGERA CONCESSION: After breakfast we break camp and start heading downstream further into the Delta. This will show the distinctive changes in our surroundings as we break out of the papyrus into open flood plains and lagoons. Stopping on a shady Islands for lunch. The afternoon is spent exploring followed by a sundowner before an early evening arrival at camp.

Day 4 | XIGERA CONCESSION: Today you enjoy an island exploration walk.  Returning to camp for lunch and a relaxing afternoon. Late afternoon spent on the boat in search for some more of the local wildlife.

Day 5 | CHAO ISLAND:  Spend the morning exploring this stunning area before heading downstream to our next camp, arrival at camp in the late afternoon and a traditional sundowner on the water in camp’s vicinity.

Day 6 | CHAO ISLAND: Exploration day and evening spent around the fire reminiscing the previous day’s adventures.

Day 7 | NORAGA LAGOON: Last moving day, most of the time will be spent exploring some island shores and many islands on foot.  Late afternoon camp arrival, allowing sufficient time to enjoy a final sunset in the heart of the delta.

Day 8 | MAUN:  Last day out on the water.  After breakfast enjoy a short island walk before embarking on the last boat journey. We will take a slow cruise downstream stopping along the way before a late afternoon arrival in Maun.
